Tea pot and Stand London – 1899/1900

A superb Victorian bright cut hand engraved teapot and stand of serpentine form. This magnificent teapot and stand , retains its original handle and finial which is in the form of a pineapple (symbol of hospitality). The matching stand is of conforming shape and stands on four elegantly pierced feet. One of the cartouches is engraved with initials. The condition is quite magnificent and is a good a teapot and stand that one is likely to find. Dimension, height to finial with stand 17 cm , height with out stand 15.5. width from handle to spout 27.5 cm. Dimension of stand 17.5 x 13 cm. Weight, 24 troy oz. Capacity, 1.75 UK pints(1 litre).
