Our handsome hallmarked silver mallard is a fine example of expert silversmithing. The duck has been hand cast and is not filled, and is therefore made completely from sterling silver. Our craftspeople have applied the stunning details by hand, using a technique called chasing, where fine chisels are applied to the silver to create this wonderful detailing. The mallard duck would make the perfect table ornament and is supplied in a presentation box. To prevent the silver from tarnishing, we recommend a regular clean with an impregnated cloth – or alternatively use a soft cloth and a good quality silver polish.
