This hallmarked silver hippopotamus is one of our personal favourites in our collection. This piece is made in solid silver, and features a beautiful smooth polished finish which is incredibly difficult to execute to this standard. The sterling silver hippo is made using the lost wax casting process, and is then worked on with 3 different hand polishing processes by our expert craftsmen. The hippo would be a great addition to any home setting, and it’s heavy weight makes it the ultimate desk paperweight. This piece is presented in one of our luxury gift boxes. To prevent the silver from tarnishing, we recommend a regular clean with an impregnated cloth – or alternatively use a soft cloth and a good quality silver polish.
