A pair of magnificent Victorian antique silver four light candelabra with Corinthian columns. The candelabras are very much in the Neoclassical Robert Adam taste of the 1770s. They stand on bold plain square bases with an upper bead border. Above the bases, they are beautifully decorated with swags, bows, and medallions on each side. The scroll branches have circular bead nozzles which are detachable. The candelabra can be used as a three-light by placing the detachable urn finial into the central nozzle. The candelabras are in superb condition and made by one of the best silversmiths of the period. All the detachable nozzles and central detachable urns are correctly hallmarked.
