Beyond retail, we offer valuation, restoration, and hand-engraving as ongoing services — the same trade a silver dealer in the Vaults has always done, not a recent addition. Both John and Simon Surtees are members of the Goldsmiths’ Company, which oversees UK hallmarking, and we’ve traded from the London Silver Vaults since 1994.

John Surtees’ career in precious metals began at The Royal Mint in 1968; his son Simon began his own apprenticeship in the Vaults at sixteen. That’s the background behind these services — not a general retailer offering valuation as an add-on, but a family that has handled silver professionally for decades.
