A pair of French antique silver first standard (.950 pure) claret jugs, that have wonderfully engraved cut glass bodies. The beautiful silver mounts have gilt interiors, and are embellished with leaves and fruits. The hinged lids on the jugs are surmounted with a stylised leaf finial. This handsome pair of wine jugs is in fine condition.
