Are your Christmas decorations solid silver?

Yes, our silver tree ornaments, including the Silver Darlings Hoop range, are cast in solid hallmarked sterling silver, not silver-plated.

What's the difference between the silver and Italian glass ranges at Christmas?

The silver pieces are solid UK-hallmarked sterling silver. The Natale glass collection is hand-blown Venetian glass with 999 fine silver deposited onto the surface, a different material and technique, each piece genuinely unique as a result.

How do I care for silver and enamel pieces differently?

Enamel finishes should never be cleaned with silver dip or abrasive polish, which can dull the colour; a soft dry cloth is usually enough. Plain silver pieces can take a proper silver polishing cloth.

Can Christmas gifts be engraved?

Yes, in most cases, a name, a date, or a short message. Get in touch with the piece you’re considering.

Can I see pieces in person before buying?

Antique and vintage pieces are one-off, so what’s shown is what’s in the showroom. Contemporary and modern pieces are normally in stock too, though occasionally something is temporarily on order from a supplier; get in touch if you’d like to confirm a specific piece is in before you visit.

UK orders are sent via trusted couriers, including FedEx, with tracked delivery typically arriving within a week of dispatch. December is our busiest month, and courier networks slow down just when everyone needs them most. If a piece needs to be under the tree on the day, it’s worth ordering in good time.
