An exceptional antique Victorian silver salver of round form. The salver is very finely engraved and depicts a North Indian Kashmiri scene with a group of men sitting on the banks of a lake. The salver has a high relief applied foliate and scroll border supported by decorative feet. The salver is embellished above the engraving with two family crests, which would signify a wedding present – the joining of two families. Made by Joseph Angell(I)and Joseph Angell(II) part of the Angell family of famous silversmiths .
