Trunk raised high and tusks forward, this elephant is caught mid-stride, its skin worked into a deep wrinkled texture across the body, ears and legs. Hallmarked in London in 1992 and bearing the mark of Pairpoint Brothers, it weighs 560g. The modelling and textured surface give the figure a strong sense of movement and character. Care and preservation
A treated silver polishing cloth is usually enough for light tarnish; for heavier tarnish use a silver foam or cream, rinse with warm water and dry thoroughly. Avoid silver dip for hollow pieces. Store wrapped in acid-free tissue or a tarnish-proof bag, and keep rubber bands away from silver.
