The adult dragonfly has the biggest eyes in the insect world and they are capable of detecting movement up to 15m away. This amazing family of dragonflies has been accurately re-created by hand in sterling silver and enamel. Using traditional techniques, the models are perfectly formed in high-quality sterling silver, with multiple layers of vitreous enamel carefully applied before the models are fired. Available in 3 sizes, each piece has distinctive double wings and long bodies, and has been colourfully embellished using an array of enamelling colours. To prevent tarnishing, a final layer of lacquer is skillfully applied producing a wonderfully authentic finish.
