This substantial hallmarked silver bottle coaster is a truly unique gift, which showcases the finest Sheffield craftsmanship. The coaster is superb quality, and has been designed by James Bailey to commemorate our 150th year in business. The body has a saw pierced scene of a pheasant in the reeds which has been crafted by hand. We believe there are only 2 saw piercers left in the Sheffield trade who are able to do this type of work. The coaster has a 4″ diameter and will hold either wine or champagne bottles, and features an American Black Walnut base. This piece is supplied in one of our luxurious gift boxes. For maintenance purposes, any wine residue should be wiped off with a damp cloth to protect the natural wood. To prevent the silver from tarnishing, we recommend a regular clean with an impregnated silver cloth.
