From £390.00

The Glasgow is a modern take on frames made in the Art Nouveau Period, design that emphasised flowing lines and organic, asymmetric forms. The frame is made from hallmarked sterling silver and is mounted on an engineered black wood back. This unique silver mirror would enhance any dressing table. The Glasgow frame and mirror comes in two photo sizes and is presented in a smart box. We recommend a regular clean with an impregnated silver cloth.

About this piece

This is the Glasgow design with a mirror set in place of a photograph: the same Art Nouveau-inspired border of flowing, asymmetric curves, made for a dressing table rather than a shelf.

The sterling silver border is fully hallmarked and mounted on an engineered black wood back. It comes in two sizes, matching the 6×4 and 7×5 photograph frames, and can be engraved across the top, which makes it a considered wedding or anniversary present. Presented in a smart gift box.

Care

A treated silver polishing cloth is usually enough for light tarnish; for heavier tarnish use a silver foam or cream, rinse with warm water and dry thoroughly. Avoid silver dip for hollow pieces. Store wrapped in acid-free tissue or a tarnish-proof bag, and keep rubber bands away from silver.
