In the portrait Portobello, a tall photograph is held between two hallmarked sterling silver bands, with nothing at the sides. The open design shows more of the picture than a conventional border, and the emerald green moiré silk behind the bevelled glass gives the silver a deep, rich ground.
Every part is made by hand. It comes in 6×4, 7×5 and 10×8, and each band can be engraved. Its landscape partner is available separately.
