Reed and ribbon is one of the silversmith’s classic borders, and on the Canterbury it runs right round the perimeter. It gives the 1.8cm band a more formal, traditional character than a plain frame, well suited to wedding and christening photographs.
The frame is handmade in hallmarked sterling silver on an engineered black wood back, and stands portrait or landscape. It is made in four sizes: 5×3.5, 6×4, 7×5 and 10×8. The band takes engraving at the top and bottom, and the frame is presented in a black gift box.
