Caster Sheffield – 1934

This exceptional antique George V sterling silver sugar caster has an octagonal panelled baluster-shaped form onto an octagonal spreading domed foot. The surface of the caster is plain and unembellished. The rim of this impressive sugar caster is encompassed with an applied moulded border. This sterling silver sugar caster retains the original, fine and impressive hallmarked push-fit cover, embellished with pierced decoration, in addition to an applied moulded border to the rim. A sterling silver finial surmounts the cover.
