This magnificent and large antique sterling silver Victorian Tray is of oval-shaped form. The well of the tray is encircled with bright-cut engraved decoration; depicting two round scrolling leaf and circular motifs joined by a foliate design. The two motifs are engraved with flowers and leaves. The decoration to the well of the tray incorporates a shaped vacant cartouche to the centre. The raised border of the tray is encircled with fine and impressive chased floral ornamentation. The handles have the same floral ornamentation.
