A very good early George III silver mug of plain tapering cylindrical form. The mug which is of approx 500 ml capacity is in excellent condition and in a form which is a little different to usual. The maker John King was a specialist holloware maker who specialised in tankards, mugs and coffee pots. He worked in the Little Britain area of London. Dimensions, height 11.6 cm.
