Description
Silver condiments have adorned tables around the world for several hundred years. Since the days of the Roman empire, salt has been lauded for its property to keep food fresh during transportation and due to its significance, some of the greatest pieces of silver ever made were designed to house salt. Throughout the Georgian period, grand sets of condiments were made with groups of pepper pots formed into ‘Warwick’ cruets. Interesting mustard pots can be found from the late Victorian period and three piece condiments sets became popular in the 20th Century. Available as set or as individual pieces, silver condiments are a practical and beautiful addition to your home.
