Yes. During the opening hours of 9am – 5:30pm you are free to visit the Silver Vaults. Certain specialist dealers with smaller vaults can be contacted via appointment only, but the majority of the silver dealers have their shops open within those hours.
Organised tours regularly visit the vaults as it is a building of historic interest as well as a luxury shopping destination.
Yes. Our engravers have over 200 years collective experience of hand-engraved inscriptions; providing a superior personalisation to any piece of silverware. Machine engraving and laser-etched engraving for larger inscriptions is carried out by the same craftsmen to ensure high-quality across all pieces.
After agreeing upon the engraved style best suited to the item, we require 7-10 working days to complete the engraving.
In almost all cases, we are able to send the item direct to your preferred delivery address using:
- The Royal Mail
- Local couriers
- UK delivery companies
Certain restrictions can apply due to Fedex overseas regulations, so if you are uncertain whether delivery if possible we recommend contacting us directly.
All shipments are fully insured and require a contact number AND/OR signature to deliver.

Every item sold is described on the invoice with the year and town of manufacture, and where possible the maker of the piece. The Silver hallmarking act guarantees the quality and purity of the Silver when the item is produced – and your invoice states what this is.

Silver restoration is carried out by our silversmith team on a regular basis. All repair work is quoted for in ADVANCE , therefore we require either a Photograph or to see the item(s) in person to give you an accurate quote.
Once the quote has been agreed, we will endeavour to return the item to you within 4 weeks. In certain exceptions this may not be possible, but we will notify you of this as soon as possible.
